Stories about 'Abdu'l-Bahá
Pictures were taken of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá with His entourage and with children
Agnes Parsons' Diary
August 15, 1912
Dublin, NH
As it rained just when Mr. Myron Whitney should have begun to sing (I had offered the house for a concert by Mr. Whitney at the request of Miss Stickney) everything was delayed, and many prevented from coming. After the music, during “tea,” Elize Cabot took ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s photograph on the lawn with His suite, then with her children and Jeffrey Boy. We then returned to the house for His talk, which He gave standing by the piano this time and not in the bay window as usual. Some of those at the concert left, and some others came. It was an interested group that heard Him. A real regret was felt and expressed, that this would be the last meeting here of this wonderful visit.
