Washington, DC Centenary celebration of the visit to America of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, son of the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh.
The celebration of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s several visits to Washington DC in 1912 was held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The theme of the event was ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s vision of Race Unity.

Other activities were planned for the weekend of May 12 by the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Washington DC, including a self-guided tour on Sunday, May 13 of many places visited by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá during His three visits to the nation’s capital.
