Centenary Commemoration of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s Visit to California

‘Abdu’l-Bahá—Pillar of Peace

The celebration of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s visit to California in 1912 was held at the War Memorial Opera House on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The theme of the event was ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s vision for peace and putting that vision into action, particularly within our own communities and neighborhoods.
