Centenary Commemoration of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s Visit to New York
Centenary celebration of the visit to America of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, son of the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh.
The celebration of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s several visits to New York in 1912 was held at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx, New York City, on Saturday June 16, 2012 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. The program focused on the Covenant and included live music and theater as well as a talk offered by Mr. Glenford Mitchell, former member of the Universal House of Justice.

The Bahá’í community of New York City also had an open house at the Bahá’í Center on June 16 and 17. On Sunday, June 17, there was a tour given of historic locations associated with ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s visit to New York in 1912.
