In Their Own Words

A relaxing afternoon with ‘Abdu’l-Baha
Characteristics of a person who is endowed with perception
Just like the power of mind, knowledge and other intellectual realities, the soul is “not subject to annihilation.”
The “spirit of man possesses all forms and has manifold shapes simultaneously.”
The body is in “harmony with the spirit” and “under its influence”
The soul’s “existence is not dependent on the body.”
The “changes experienced by the body do not affect the soul.”
“… for existence there is no death … there is a transfer from one state to another.”
