Stories about 'Abdu'l-Bahá
Some of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s entourage arrived in Dublin
Agnes Parsons' Diary
July 23, 1912
Dublin, NH
Mrs. Meredith, Bell, Wilber and I were busy completing the arrangements for ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s comfort in my cottage. I had heard by telegram that five of the party would arrive by evening train from Boston, and we notified the stage company to bring them by the motor to our house where they would dine. I was walking across the lawn from the other house when I looked up and saw Siyyid Assad’ullah coming to greet me. They had just arrived. The party at present is composed of two Persians whose names I did not catch, Siyyid Assad’ullah, Mirza Mahmoud, and Dr. Getsinger. After a pleasant little dinner here we all walked down to the other house, introduced them to it, and then Jeffrey, Mrs. Meredith and I drove home.
