‘Abdu’l-Bahá visiting with a Christian minister in the city of Haifa, in the Holy Land

According to Saichiro Fujita, a Japanese Bahá’í who accompanied ‘Abdu’l-Bahá on the Western portion of His journeys in America, and who later served in the Holy Land for many years, this photograph was taken in 1919 or 1920.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá cultivated close relations with the leaders of all of the religious communities in Haifa. He paid a visit on Christmas Day to the Christian minister at this small church situated immediately behind His house, and asked Mr. Fujita to accompany Him.
