‘Abdu’l-Bahá at the Unity Feast in West Englewood, New Jersey
June 29, 1912
Grounds of Roy Wilhelm's Property
Teaneck, NJ
‘Abdu’l-Bahá walks in front of a large group gathered for a Unity Feast on the grounds of Roy Wilhelm’s (1875-1951) home in West Englewood (now Teaneck), New Jersey.
The man with his arms folded in the front row is architect Louis Bourgeois (1856-1930), French-Canadian designer of the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois. Lua Getsinger (1871-1916), the ‘Mother Teacher of America’, stands near the right edge of the photo in the dark dress.
