On ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s birthday, May 23, more than 100 guests gathered at Francis Breed’s home in Cambridge to celebrate the event. May 23 is also one of the major Bahá’í holy days — the anniversary of the Declaration of the Báb in 1844.
